Refund policy
At Black Chair Streetwear, we operate on a highly sustainable, print-on-demand manufacturing model. This means your garment does not exist until you place an order. Because every single t-shirt is custom printed, processed, and quality-checked specifically for you, we maintain a balanced policy to keep our operations sustainable while ensuring you get the perfect fit.
1. Damages, Defects, and Wrong Items
We take pride in our premium 240 GSM heavy knit garments. If your item arrives damaged, has a clear manufacturing print defect, or is the wrong design/color/size compared to your order confirmation, we will replace it or issue a full refund at no extra cost to you.

Unboxing Video Requirement (Mandatory): To claim a replacement or refund for damage/defect, you must provide an uninterrupted unboxing video within 48 hours of delivery. The video must clearly show the courier shipping label, the sealed bag being opened, and the direct inspection of the defect. We cannot process claims without this video evidence under any circumstances.

2. Sizing Exchanges & "Change of Mind"
Because our garments are custom printed-on-demand and we do not hold bulk printed inventory, we cannot easily exchange returned shirts. However, we want you to feel incredibly confident wearing our garments. If you ordered the incorrect size, we offer two hassle-free options:

Option A: The Smart replacement (Fastest & Easiest): Keep the original t-shirt to gift to a friend or family member, and we will email you a one-time 50% discount code to order the correct size immediately. No return shipping, no waiting on couriers.

Option B: Co-Paid Size Exchange: If you prefer to return the shirt, we will happily process a size exchange for a flat processing fee of ₹249. This co-pay helps our small independent brand cover the reverse shipping pickup and the cost of custom-printing your new size.

Note: The returned item must be unworn, unwashed, and in its original packaging with tags intact. You must request this within 5 days of delivery.

3. COD Order Refusals & RTO (Return to Origin)
We offer Cash on Delivery (COD) as a convenience to build trust with our community. However, abusing COD damages our brand severely:

If a COD order is rejected at the doorstep or cannot be delivered after 3 courier attempts, it will trigger an automated block on your phone number and address across our platform and partner networks.

Future orders from blacklisted accounts will require 100% advance prepaid payment to be processed.
4. Refund Process
Once your defect claim is verified and approved by our quality control team, refunds will be initiated:

Prepaid Orders: Processed back to your original payment method (Razorpay/UPI/Card) within 5–7 business days.

COD Orders: Processed via direct UPI transfer or bank transfer to details provided by you within 7 business days.
